0001709: Text shoud be selectable

Sample patch does not even compile.
It does with wxTextCtrl instead of wxText, but the result looks very poor.
And why should I want to copy this information?

sorry for the patch, it just about the idea.

for the `why ?`: because in the X world almost every text is selectable/pastable.
and exception to this rule are often annoying.

The last time I needed this I wanted to copy/paste the path of the Temp file.
