 just after installing everything is ok, but second time and all times after only root can start aMule 2.0.0rc5
slackware 10.0

you probably installed being root and then forgot to exit the root shell before staring aMule.
delete ~/.eMule and ~/.aMule wit this command:
rm -f /home/<USER>/.eMule && rm -rf /home/<USER>/.aMule
You must run that command as root and where <USER> put the normal user's name.
